Nowadays, people often argue about visiting sights. Some people consider, that you should read all about places, which you really want to visit while others are against.
As for me, it should be better for everyone to read about sights before traveling. First of all, you can learn more about the places, which you really want to see and bring your minds. Also, you can save money, because you do not need the excursion, because you know everything about it.
There are many people who can agree with my point of view. However, there exists another point of view on this issue. Some people consider that sights cannot impress you because you see many pictures in books. For someone, it can be boring. Moreover, people think that it is a waste of time. Your guide can tell you everything which you want to know. The guide is really clever, so you do not need to read books before sightseeing.
Despite my respect for this point of view, I cannot agree with it. Every sight can impress you because you see it in reality. There are many differences between pictures from books, the Internet, and the sights which you see in reality. Also, your guide is not a computer and sometimes can forget information because it is really hard for a person to save all information in his mind.
In conclusion, I personally suggest everyone to get to know about the places of interest to be prepared for the trip.
